Facebook strikes at YouTube with IGTV

Instagram, owned by Facebook has launched IGTV (Instagram Television) as an attempt to kneel Google’s YouTube down just like Snapchat.

Just like YouTube, IGTV has all the awesome features for both viewers and creators.

Although unlike YouTube, IGTV is mobile first and designed for mobile users with a vertical interface. At the moment, IGTV is also ad-free so no annoying pop-ups or adverts for now.

With over one billion users on Instagram especially the younger generation, IGTV is a big bet and it will surely save Facebook’s stock from whistleblowers and Cambridge Analytica which is now defunct and flown away to Emerdata.
